How it all got started
Local racing team comprised of three generations. Great-Grandfather, Father, and Son. In 2020 during the Covid lockdown, our family went back to our roots and built a dirt track on a portion of our property. We spent the next year building and racing each other with go karts.
Thanks to the generosity of the Cancilla Family, Jace was donated a Fiser Chassis Quarter Midget Racecar in late 2021 to kick off his racing career.
After months of repairing and reworking the previously retired racecar, Jace was finally ready to race! He started his rookie season and quickly speed through both red and blue classes. This put Jace in the Senior Honda class. In his 2023 season Jace had the opportunity to get a new car, another Fiser Chassis, but approximately 12 years newer than his previous car. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, Jace needed to raise $3,000. He put in the work and started making phone calls right away. Within 72 hours, Jace met his fundraiser goal and was able to purchase himself a new Quarter Midget. The following season was full of learning and growth both on and off the track. Jace had the opportunity to travel more and made it to multiple out of town races. The biggest race being Winter Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vegas was a whole new ball game and Jace was up for the challenge.
As we enter the 2024 racing season, we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable costs of competitive motorsports. Tires, fuel, and entry fees are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Quarter Midget Racing. Wrecks and broken parts come quickly and often, especially with children behind the wheel.
Support from sponsors is what has enabled Jace to participate and be competitive throughout every season so far. Without the commitment of sponsors, we would not be able to enhance our performance and continue to improve.
Your support helps fund the race registration, manufacturing, repairing and testing of our car, the transportation of it and the team across the state, & the purchase of new parts, tires, and materials. With your support Jace will be able to compete in two classes this year, the Senior Honda class and the Light 160 class. We look forward to the new challenges presented by racing two cars and are exceedingly grateful for the incredible support given to Jace that is providing him with this opportunity.
Thank you for your continued support.
